While it is somewhat of a futile point since people that are ambitious can get around that by blocking their I.P.’s, using proxies or going off-site to another location, the gesture itself sends a message that the usually neutral wikipedia isn’t happy about the bombarding of Scientology propaganda on their website, which tries to have it’s content remain objective.
Penn Jillette, an avowed atheist, had an interesting commentary about the situation.
The Citizens Commission on Human Rights is a Scientology front group that has put out a documentary called Making A Killing: The Untold Story Of Psychotropic Drugging.
The documentary, much like the museum and it’s travelling display version, are full of ad-hominems, non-sequiturs, straw-man arguments and various other logical fallacies.
Anonymous are freaking out the Holmes-Cruises! Protesting Katie’s big Broadway play and Tom’s Valkyrie opening, the group has been making public life unpleasant for the Dianetics Duo all year, driving home the actors’ association with the cult of Scientology.
Cruise has spent £5 million on an underground bunker in the grounds of his estate in Colorado. In August, threats were made to place anthrax in the air vents of his Los Angeles office.

Reports don’t specify that Anonymous was responsible for the anthrax threats; it could have been any number of people who hope to see Katie & Suri escape from Witch Mountain.
Two gentlemen, fired for refusing to attend mandatory Scientology classes at their place of work, are suing software firm Diskeeper for religious discrimination. Included in the lawsuit is a sanction preventing Diskeeper from making attendance at Hubbard Study Technology courses compulsory.
The company, who’s founder and chief exec Craig Jensen is a committed Scientologist, argues that religious instruction in the workplace is protected by the First Amendment, so the sanction is unconstitutional. Really? Forced cult classes are totally ok with the US government?
The German government was so spooked by the Co$ connection that the asked Microsoft if they could inspect the source code before Diskeeper, integrated into Windows 2000, was allowed to be used in government applications. There were some rumours the software would harvest data from user’s machines, presumably creating a database for Xenu’s nefarious purposes.
In other Scientology news, Katie Holmes looks god awful! Some say it’s her Broadway schedule or that she’s pregnant again, but they’re underestimating Tom’s mind control powers. Katie’s also sporting some weird cult-like vampire bites around her foot.
Mario Majorski, 48, was blown away yesterday outside the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre International in LA by Co$ security goons. To be fair, he did burst out of a cherry-red rental car wielding two samurai swords, but who says he didn’t have a reason? He was once “associated with the Church”, so maybe he had his own crazy business to finish. Cops say it was self defence on the part of the goons.
Hollywood Interrupted reports that a small Anonymous protest outside Gold Base in Gilman Hot Springs, CA turned nasty when the Co$ goons tackled a protester, zip-tied him, and had him arrested. This protest is a win for Anonymous, because they’ve got video.
Gold Base houses the infamous Rehabilitation Project Force, or RPF, a killer gulag.

Rumors abound that Katie, tasting sweet freedom in NYC (and hopefully considerable personal consternation at the appearance of Anonymous), may be entertaining escaping the cult, and thereby Tom. (Win: 1/2 point to Anon for the protest, 1/2 point on hold til some celebrity rumors are substantiated)
OCTOBER 17/08 Teenager Dmitriy Guzner plead guilty in New Jersey for the January DDOS (Denial of Service) attacks on Scientology’s website. The “church”, like any non-profit organization, claims something in the hood of 70 grand in damages for the hours their site was down. (Win: Scientology)
OCTOBER 18/08 Today was the world-wide zombie-themed ‘Shocktober‘ protest, in which cities all over the globe saw protests of their local Scientology centers. The RPF is a gulag; the worst kind of mental prison camp in which cult members are stripped of their ID, passports, credit cards, privacy, dignity, and health. A RPF member “Has no Liberties“.
In an “fictional” series of newsletters, ‘RPF Insider‘ describes Uwe’s situation, from his imprisonment in 2001 to his physical deterioration of the last few years:
Uwe cannot even get up to go to the bathroom. What in hell
is he doing in the RPF?? He cannot be getting enough professional care and
attention and it’s INHUMAN to watch what is going on. All the other RPFers
are probably also outraged, but are suppressing their own feelings, in the
hope of not missing their own chance to get out of here. I’m actually
wondering how long these guys will survive and why they are not granted some
forgiveness for whatever they were assigned to the RPF for. Human decency
would be to sign them in to a proper nursing home to recover or at least die
in peace. The one theory that I have is this: Uwe Stuckenbrock was the
International Security Chief at Hemet. O’boy! What would happen if he had
the opportunity to let the world know what is going on up there or the
security issues that exist all over the planet. I’m sure that he’s kept in
the RPF so won’t be able to leak any data out.

“Anonymous is fully aware of his condition prior to death, due to the maltreatment your sorry excuses for doctors handled him with. Stuckenbrock was denied medication for his MS. He was held against his will.”
A search for a photo of Uwe on Google turns up this ominous message: “In response to a complaint we received under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint that caused the removal(s) at ChillingEffects.org.” Not so lol. The offending site was Xenu.net.
The next Anonymous protests against the cult of Scientology are this Saturday, October 18.
Katie, as you know, hit Broadway a few weeks ago. The attendant Anonymous pestering must have been a wakeup call for how weird the rest of the world thinks her life is, because the young Scientologist is reportedly thinking of moving to NYC, where she’s a little more out of the cult’s clutches. The play actually opens this week, and Anonymous promise to be there.
