Romney: President needs prayers of people of all faiths

In this article…

Romney, who hopes to become the first Mormon president, said “religious tolerance would be a shallow principle, indeed, if it were reserved only for faiths with which we agree.”

And how about those with no faith? Agnostics and athiests are still considered second-class citizens by many people. There is freedom of religion, and then there should also be freedom from religion.

    1. People who choose not to excersize any practice towards religion are free to do so. They are free from religion unless they consume themselves with attempting to undermine those who choose contrary to themselves.

Why should you take offense when someone suggests that a president could benefit from the prayers of the people of all faiths? Athiests too are people of faith and you can support and sustain your political leaders in a manner that is pleasing to you.

    2. “Athiests too are people of faith”

No, there is no faith present; faith is beleiving even where there is lack of evidence, that is not the position of an athiest or agnostic.
